In a short time, I will embark on a life-changing pilgrimage to the homeland of my ancestors before being uprooted during the Diaspora. Eating Good Vegetary with the Brown Rice

While I borrowed the title from the track “I Don’t Like” off of Kanye West’s new compilation album, I created this flavorful vegetable on my own.  After sautéing some julienned green apples & squash, mushrooms, onions, garlic, mushrooms, I added the vegetables to a mixture of multi-grain oats, chickpeas, and an egg.  Seasoned with garam masala and truffle oil, I cooked the veggie burger on the stove.  I topped it off with smoke gouda, spinach, and red pepper hummus.  Truffle fries and a cold Hefeweizen make the perfect plate and beverage pairing.
